Who We Are

Mission & History

Stand Fast in Freedom was birthed out of a deep burden for trafficked youth in our home state of Nebraska. Our founder, Amber, learned of the magnitude of the local trafficking epidemic in 2017 at which time she met prominent activists who had pioneered the groundwork to shed light and bring freedom to victims.

The manipulation and exploitation of young people in vulnerable situations and the “close to home” reality of cases uncovered right in the heart of Omaha created in her a God-given passion to be a part of the solution.

Stand Fast in Freedom was officially incorporated in 2019 and purchased the property for the Esther house in 2021. The global pandemic created some setbacks in launching the program. However, the renovation of the property is now underway as the facility is being transformed into a beautiful healing home.

The Esther House will be a 24/7 in-house residential program in which survivors ages 12-19 receive one-on-one therapy, group therapy, and in-house schooling in a family-type environment conducive to establishing the trust and safety needed for healing. Our mission is to love and empower survivors of child sex trafficking to live in freedom. We envision a life for them in which the past has no hold, and they live in true healing and wholeness. We have already seen survivors find healing and miraculous freedom through the love and power of Jesus and we look forward to seeing many more find that same healing and freedom.
